Profile of Sam Lumb

Thank you for taking a moment to review my real estate credentials. I bring a resume to the task of helping you with your real estate that includes experience, participation, accomplishment, commitment and the resources of Benson Sotheby’s in Crested Butte. As an active Realtor for 15 years, I’ve helped Sellers and Buyers throughout the Valley with a variety of real estate sales.

Among my recent achievements are: ranked in the top 5 among all agents in 2014, sold 2 of the top priced homes in the Town of Crested Butte in 2014 and the most lots in Town 2012 and 2014, and, at Mt. Crested Butte, sold a second Wildhorse at Prospect home in 2014. I’ve previously constructed 2 homes in Crested Butte, and constructed the attractive downtown commercial building now the home of Benson Sotheby’s at 401 Elk Ave.

Along with my wife, Nan, we raised our family here and we owned and managed a well-known bakery and restaurant. We have provided dining and retail shopping for countless customers for decades and provided jobs for hundreds of local residents. We provide a long-term rental residence in Town.  I served on the Gunnison County Planning Commission 4 years and for the Skyland Community Association for the past 10 years, to present. I’ve served at Chamber president and was among the founders of the Crested Butte Rotary Club.

To further your real estate goals I can provide property details, market conditions, prices and market values, information on taxes, school, open space, community development, neighborhoods or other topics. I’m active with listings and sales of homes, condominiums and land throughout the area from an experienced real estate career. With the resources of Benson Sotheby’s and my knowledge and experience, your interest in selling, buying, or getting an update will be well-served. I’m usually at the office 5 days a week unless I’m skiing or playing softball. Please stop by anytime.
